IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES APPEARING FORON-LINE EXAM GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:- 1. Please paste your colour photo in the space provided. Candidates who are bringing call letter without photograph will not be allowed for On-Line examination, check particulars, specifically community, printed in the call letter. If there is any discrepancy, you must contact Railway Recruitment Cell Office at least one week before the date of On-Line Examination. 2. Candidates will be allowed to appear for On-Line Examination only with call letter duly certified by the supervisor.
3. Candidate will be allowed to appear for On-Line Examination only at the centre, on the date and time indicated in the Call Letter. 4. Request if any, for change of Examination Centre, date and time will not be entertained. 5. You should report at the Examination Centre with the Call Letter, duly certified by the supervisor, 45 minutes before the commencement of the examination for verification of identity. 6. You will not be permitted to appear for the Examination without the call letter, duly certified by the supervisor, and you will not be admitted to the Examination Hall after 10 minutes of the commencement of the Examination. 7. You will not be allowed to leave the hall until the examination is over. You must remain seated in your place till the end of the Examination. 8. You are prohibited from bringing any book or paper, manuscripts etc., to the Examination Hall or from communicating with any person inside the hall as well as outside the hall. Copying from others is prohibited. 9. Mobile phone/ Electronic gadgets are banned from exam centre. Any candidate found in procession of such instruments will be disqualified immediately. 10. Candidates should strictly obey the instructions issued by the Railway Officials at the Examination Centre/Hall. 11. If any candidates fail to observe any of the above instructions or indulges in any form of disorderly or improper conduct, He / She is liable for expulsion from Examination centre. 12. Candidates have to make their own arrangements for the accommodation while coming for the OnLine Examination. 13. The candidature is provisional and is subjected to satisfying all the criteria. HOW TO ANSWER:- 14. The question will be available in English, Hindi, Urdu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada & Telugu Languages.
15. The questions will be objectives type and the total number of questions will be 100. The duration of Examination is 1 ½ hours (90 minutes) 16. The questions will be set to test the candidate’s knowledge in the field of study prescribed as qualification for the post, General knowledge/Awareness, Mathematics and reasoning etc., No question will be asked for checking proficiency in language. 17. There is only one correct answer. There will be negative marking for wrong answers.
