The Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion of Lower Grade Officials to the cadre of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants was held on 23.11.2014, for the departmental quota vacancies of the year 2014 including unfilled backlog PH reservations as on 15.11.2009, unfilled backlog ST as on 01.11.2008 and carried forward PH reservations of the year 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. 2. As per the list containing marks of appeared candidate, received from the Directorate vide letter No. A-34013/08/2014-DE dated 29.05.2015, the result of the examination is announced. The selection made by results of LGO Examination held on 23.11.2014 will be subject to the final outcome of the OA No. 1686/2014 filed by Shri. M. Kumar & 3 others Vs UOI rep. by ADG(DE), CPMG, PMG, Southern Region and 2 others”.The selection of the candidates is based on the following eligibility criteria for qualifying in the examination:
No backlog vacancies have been filled as there are no qualified ST candidates available in the divisions where backlog ST vacancies are there. 3. The Division wise list of successful candidates selected in the Limited Departmental Competitive Examination for promotion of Lower Grade Officials to the cadre of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistants for the departmental quota vacancies of the year 2014 held on 23.11.2014, is furnished in the Annexure I. The successful candidates have been allotted to their parent divisions subject to availability of vacancies. The results are indicated in the order of merit. If there is change in the merit list, the same may be communicated to this office for issuing correction. If any of the selected candidates, decline promotion, the declaration may be obtained and sent to this office on or before 30.09.2015.
