RESULT NOTICE FIRE OPERATOR (POST CODE -003/09) DELHI FIRE SERVICES, GNCTD
This is in pursuance to the directions of the Hon’ble CAT vide its orders in (i) OA No. 1055//2012 titled Joginder Singh Vs. DSSSB & Ors. and (ii) OA No. 2195/2012 titled Ravinder Kumar Vs GNCTD & Ors. The brief facts of the present cases are that the applicants had applied for the post of Fire Operator, Post Code 003/09 and they were declared qualified in written tests, Physical Endurance Test (PET) and Driving Skill Test. However, the candidature of the applicants was rejected on the basis of the report of verification committee in respect of their handwriting, signatures etc. The applicants filed O.A’s before the Hon’ble CAT against their rejection vide above mentioned cases. Now in compliance of the directions of the Hon’ble CAT, the applicants/candidates are hereby provisionally selected and recommended for appointment to the post of Fire Operator, Post Code-003/09 in the Delhi fire services., in the pay scale of Rs. 4000-100-7100 (Pre-revised).
The selection of the above 02 candidates (UR-01, OBC-01) shall further be subject to fulfillment of all the eligibility conditions as prescribed by the statutory RR’s and terms and conditions of advertisement as indicated in the advertisement inviting applications and also subject to thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures/handwriting etc. on the application forms, admission certificates etc., the candidature of the candidates are liable to be cancelled by the user department also, in case the candidate is found not to be fulfilling the eligibility conditions or due to any other genuine reason. The Competent authority of the department concerned shall issue the appointment letter to the candidate after satisfying themselves of their eligibility as laid down in the recruitment rules and on verification of the correctness of the information/documents/Driving Licensesas furnished in the application forms. Mere inclusion of name in the result notice does not confer any right upon the candidates over the post. The result has been processed keeping in view the eligibility conditions regarding educational qualification/caste certificate as on cut-off date i.e. 03.03.2009. The user department shall also get the OBC certificate verified from the issuing authority before his appointment. Further, it may also be verified that the candidate does not belong to the persons/section (Creamy layer) mentioned in column 3 of the Schedule to the Govt. of India, Department of Personnel and Training O.M. No. 36012/22/93-Estt.(SCT) dated 08.09.1993, O.M. No. 36033/3/2004-Estt.(Res) dated 09.03.2004 and O.M. No. 36033/3/2004- Estt.(Res)dated 14.10.2008. While every care has been taken in preparing the results, the DSSSB reserves the right to rectify errors and omissions, if any. This issues with the prior approval of the Competent Authority of DSSSB.
