STAFF SLELECTION COMMISSION Sepoy in NCB Exam,2012 - Declaration of the result for calling the candidates for PET/Medical Examination of four Regions (ER,WR.SR & NWR)
ER,WR,SR & NWR had advertised vacancies for the posts of Sepoy in NCB in their respective regions. The Commission decided to hold a written examination for all applicants on 11.3.2012. Due to technical reasons, it was decided to hold a re-examination on 13.5.2012 for candidates who actually attended the examination on 11.3.2012. Against 31147 registered candidates, 19820 candidates actually appeared in this examination. Taking into account the number of vacancies reported in each region and consistent with practice of cutoff for posts advertised by each region, the Commission has fixed separate cutoff for different regions and the number of candidates available for calling for PET/Medical Examination roughly in the ratio of 1:15 (vacancies to shortlisted candidates) are as under:

*In addition to the UR candidates shown above, 149 OBC, 37 SC and 32 ST candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standards. ** Out of 68 ST candidates, 1 candidate also belongs to Ex-serviceman category.
*In addition to the UR candidates shown above, 65 OBC, 10 SC and 4 ST candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standards.
*In addition to the UR candidates shown above, 66 OBC, 30 SC and 8 ST candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standards. .
** Out of 66 SC candidates, 1 candidate also belongs to Ex-serviceman category, out of 119 OBC candidates, 2 candidates belong to Ex.S category and out of 25 UR candidates, 1 candidate belongs to Ex.S.category .
*In addition to the UR candidates shown above, 44 OBC, 6 SC and 3 ST candidates are provisionally qualifying at UR standards. 2. The above said lists are purely provisional and subject to the recommended candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed for the respective post in the Notice of Examination and also subject to thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc., on the application forms, admission certificates, etc. The candidature of the candidates are liable to be cancelled by respective Regional Directors/Deputy Directors in case candidates are found not fulfilling eligibility conditions or any other genuine reasons, including but not limited to resorting to unfair means. The Commission undertakes post examination analysis of candidates to identify incidents of malpractices and cancel the candidature of such candidates who are found prima facie having indulged in malpractices. The result of written examination are being furnished without prejudice to the Commission taking such actions. 3. Roll Number, category, name, etc. of the candidates, as shown in the result, have been taken from their OMR answer scripts. It is important for the candidates belonging to reserved category for whom certain percentage of vacancies is reserved as per the policy of the Government, to note that some of them may have been declared eligible for PET/Medical Examination for the specific category mentioned in the result. It is, therefore, in the interest of the candidates concerned to contact immediately the respective Regional Offices of the Commission in all such cases where they do not belong to the categories shown against their roll numbers. Candidates whose name and Roll No. do not match should also bring such mismatch to the notice of concerned Regional Offices for detailed examination.Candidates meeting the cut off for a particular post have been considered for those posts based on the Options exercised by them in their application form. 4. Candidates may note that as per instructions given in the answer sheets, they were required to code/write their particulars correctly affix their signature and LTI in the answer sheets. Such answer sheets which are without signature/LTI and where particulars such as name, roll number, ticket number and Test Form number have been written and/or coded incorrectly, have been rejected/awarded ZERO marks. 5. PET/Medical Examination of qualified candidates will be scheduled by the concerned regional offices of the Commission. Candidates are advised to follow the website of the concerned regional office. Tentatively, PET/Medical Examination, in batches will be held in July-August,2012 in consulation with NCB. 7. The result is also available on SSC’s website – http://ssc.nic.in. Marks of qualified and non-qualified candidates are also available on the Commissions’ website.
