STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION
JUNIOR ENGINEERS (CIVIL&ELECTRICAL) EXAMINATION, 2011 -DECLARATION OF FINAL RESULT
Staff Selection Commission conducted the Junior Engineers (Civil & Electrical) Exam.2011 on 27/03/11 for recruitment to the post of Jr. Engineer (Civil & Electrical) in the office of the C.P.W.D. and M.E.S., Group ‘B’, Non-Gazetted and Non-Ministerial Post, classified as General Central Services(Technical) in the Pay Band II with grade pay of Rs. 4200 all over the country
2. A total of 31,850 candidates appeared in this examination. As per the cut off approved by Commission in Paper-I, 2453 candidates for Civil/Structural and 1349 candidates for Electrical/Mechanical qualified for the evaluation of Paper-II. As per the cutoff approved by Commission in Paper I+II, 1,434 candidates in Civil/Structural and 452 candidates in Electrical/Mechanical qualified to be called for interview.
3. Category-wise details of the selected candidates for appointment to the posts of JE(Civil) and JE(Electrical) are given below :-

4. Criteria for resolving Tie cases - In cases where more than one candidate secure the equal aggregate marks, tie has been resolved by applying the following methods one after another :- (1) By referring to the marks in the written examination. (2) By referring to marks in Paper-I of the written examination. (3) Date of birth i.e. the candidate older in age gets preference. (4) By referring to the alphabetical order of the names taking first name into consideration.
6. 5 candidates in JE(Civil) and 1 in JE(Electrical) whose candidature has been kept as Provisional by concerned regional offices are also included in the select list. Concerned RDs/DDs will check the eligibility of such candidates thoroughly before their nomination. 7. The list of recommended candidates is purely PROVISIONAL and subject to the candidates fulfilling all the eligibility conditions prescribed in the Notice of said examination and also subject to, among other things, thorough verification of their identity with reference to their photographs, signatures, handwritings, etc. on the application forms, admission certificates, etc.
